Grain Size Measurement RHEsize

The RHEsize is a compact analyzer for grain size measurement and particle shape analysis.

Since all particles are scanned, it offers a cost-saving alternative to conventional analytical screening. As the sample passes through the funnel and dosing chute and falls past the light source into the material outlet, the non-contact optical measurement is carried out. The distortion-free digital images required here, are produced in rapid succession by the camera, are processed electronically at the same time. The results obtained are automatically recorded and archived.

The FlowChecker is a volume flow sensor for determining conveying capacities and is suitable for continuous production monitoring of mass flows.

The standard application of the FlowChecker is the measurement of a broad range of bulk materials on conveyor belts of different widths. With the help of several of these devices in a plant, all operating conditions can be recorded online and optimized. It combines favorable investment costs compared to other measuring systems such as belt scales or laser scanners with much simpler operation and thus faster availability for use.

Air classifier RHEjet

The RHEjet air classifier is ideal for classifying processes with high capacities and at the same time a very fine cut.

The RHEjet air classifier combines the functional principles of a Sturtevant classifier and an Onoda classifier into a completely new classifier type. By means of CFD simulation of the expected particle flows, it was possible to achieve the design of a very high dust loading of up to 700 g/Nm3 and a pressure drop of only 9-12 mbar while achieving a sharp separation.

Air jet sieve RHEair (RHEair/ PowderJet)

The RHEair air jet sieve operates in the ultra-fine dispersion range. Its specialty is separations of high-grade products in the range from 20 μm to 0.4 mm (approx. 635 Me. – 40 Me.). 

The RHEair (RHEair/ PowderJet) uses direct excitation of the screen cloth on the one hand and directional air jets flowing through it on the other. The slot nozzles, which are arranged transverse to the direction of screening, are driven at up to 60 strokes per minute. The extracted air from underneath the screen cloth helps to transport the undersize particles through the meshes.

Cross-flow classifier RHEWUM QS

Due to the patented design and the sophisticated integration into existing RHEWUM screening machines, the cross-flow classifier QS offers an optimal solution for dedusting granular material.

The special feature of the RHEWUM cross-flow classifier is that it is integrated into the screening machine. On the one hand, this reduces the space requirement, and on the other hand, the dedusting air for the screening process can be used for the classifying process simultaneously. The main field of application is the targeted removal of fines from the screening product.

Sieve analysis RHEWUM ScreenGuard

The ScreenGuard protects production thanks to continuous monitoring of screen vibrations.

Since screening machines are often integrated at a central point in the production process, no machine malfunction is acceptable. To take this fact into account, the ScreenGuard sieve analysis equipment continuously monitors the vibrations on your machines and evaluates them on an ongoing basis. In the event of deviations from the target state, the system generates a message in plain text on the display as well as for a supervising process control system.

All major components of the GeniusDrive are made in Germany: The stator with its special, energy-saving windings, the rotor and of course the bearings. Every vibration motor from our production strictly undergoes a test run under full load before it leaves production.

  • Motors from RHEWUM’s own production combine longevity with maximum performance
  • Smart generation combines robust hardware with microcomputers for predictive maintenance

  • The bearings are extensively greased ex works with a special bearing grease. Re-greasing of the bearings is recommended only under difficult conditions and in the case of continuous operation.
  • The robust cast iron housings are equipped with large cooling ribs for better heat dissipation.
  • The weight covers are generally deep-drawn from stainless steel (1.4301) and are sealed with embedded O-rings.
  • The interior of the motor is protected against moisture and dust by two independent sealing rings; the bearings are sealed to the outside by grease lubricated gap seals.
  • To protect the winding mechanically against vibrations, it is completely impregnated twice with a special resin.
  • Variable-frequency drive (VFD) operation of the motor is possible without any problems as the windings are equipped with phase insulation.
