Linear Vibrating Screens

Screening Machines with Linear Vibration

Linear vibrating screens are robust and multi-purpose screening machines, whose entire screening unit is excited to a linear vibration. They are designed as single or multi-deck screening machines. Depending on the application, a wide variety of screen linings, such as wire mesh, perforated plates, welded wire mesh, polyurethane screen mesh, etc. can be installed.

RHEflex®

The RHEflex® linear vibrating screen is used for safety screening and classification of medium- and coarse-grained bulk materials. Due to its robustness, it is very versatile in its applications.

Thanks to its relatively simple design, it represents an uncomplicated screening solution that is unaffected by material fluctuations of the feed material. The RHEflex® screening machines can be designed as circular vibrating screens with one unbalance motor as well as linear vibrating screens with two counter-rotating unbalance motors.

The RHEflex® linear vibrating screen is available with …

  • bulk specific wear lining for abrasive materials
  • pressure- and dust-tight housing
  • connection to dust extraction system
  • FDA and ATEX compliance
Important Information

Advantages of the RHEflex® linear vibrating screen

  • Cost-effective and flexible solution for different separation tasks
  • Flat standing linear vibrating screen for classification and material transport
  • Simple and tolerant to material fluctuations
  • Quick exchange of screen cloths
  • Motors can be positioned both below and above the machine
  • Good external accessibility
  • Compact design
  • Robust and low maintenance

RHEstack®

Multi-deck plansifters are designed for a wide range of sharp separations in the medium to fine particle range from 20 μm (635 Me.). The material is transported using the microthrow principle.

By using the drive of two counter-rotating unbalance motors, which generate a linear vibration, the particles are subjected to a large number of individual throws until they leave the machine. The screening material moves in a linear motion over the horizontal separating surface. In this process, the screening machine operates with low vibration acceleration and thus with very low wear on both screen cloths and machine components.

The RHEstack® plansifter is available with …

  • parallel arrangement of the screen decks as technological units
  • screen frames as wooden or stainless steel constructions
  • hydraulic lift for easier maintenance
  • tensioning of the screen stacks using easy-to-maintain hydraulic tensioning systems
  • FDA compliance
  • bulk material diverter for optimizing the product infeed
Important Information

Advantages of the RHEstack® plansifter

  • Material transport is based on the microthrow principle, which maximizes separation efficiency
  • Vibration amplitudes are freely adjustable
  • Low wear thanks to low vibration acceleration and microthrow principle
  • Due to the modular system, a wide variety of technological screen combinations can be realized

Linear Motion Screen RHEox

The linear motion screen of the RHEox type operates with powerful vibrating movements generated by a low-maintenance drive system with unbalanced gears, coupled to an electric drive motor via a cardan joint.

The RHEox linear motion screens are cost-effective screening machines in which the entire screening unit is excited to a linear motion. Due to their robust design, these linear motion screens are mainly used in the mineral industry for high capacities and medium to coarse separations.

The RHEox linear motion screen is available with …

  • bulk specific wear lining for abrasive materials
  • feed box and spray system for wet classification
Important Information

Advantages of the RHEox linear motion screen

  • Ideal for coarser separations with high feed rates, e.g. in the minerals sector
  • Good external accessibility
  • Robust and low-maintenance due to generously dimensioned gear units
  • Unaffected by fluctuating feed rates
  • Suitable for highly abrasive material

Powder Sieve RHEsonox®

Two counter-rotating unbalance motors generate a linear motion that transports the material on the screen. The additional direct excitation of the screen cloth prevents clogging of the screen meshes by plugged grain.

This drive-excitation combination allows difficult-to-screen material, which normally cannot be classified on linear vibrating screens, to be screened precisely and with high throughput. In the ultra-fine to fine particle range, the RHEsonox® high-efficiency screen produces significantly better separation results than a conventional vibrating screen. In addition, the operating principle enables a low overall height.

The RHEsonox® powder sieve is available with …

  • continuous inclination adjustment
  • dust-tight housing with optional connection to dust extraction system
  • FDA and ATEX compliance
Important Information

Advantages of the RHEsonox® powder sieve

  • No clogged screen meshes thanks to automatic cleaning
  • Vibration amplitudes are adjustable during operation
  • Particularly flat construction
  • Quick exchange of screen cloths without entering the machine
  • Perfect for critical separations
  • Motor inspection possible during operation

RHEsizer

The RHEsizer is a compact multi-deck screening machine with a space-saving housing that offers maximum efficiency and precision.

Due to the varying inclination angles of several short screen decks, the screen openings appear smaller, which allows larger meshes with the same separation accuracy as with flat screens, and therefore reduce clogging as well as material layering. In this context, the separation quality of the multi-deck probability screen is limited when considered per screen deck, but if these screen decks are combined to produce one fraction, a considerable screening result is achieved even with a compact design.

The Sizer RHEsizer is available …

  • as standing version on springs and as hanging version in ropes for decoupling the vibration
  • with large inspection openings
  • with FDA and ATEX conformity
Important Information

Advantages of the Sizer RHEsizer

  • High feed capacity
  • Small compact design
  • Low energy consumption
  • Reduced downtime due to good external accessibility
  • Long service life due to robust design and low-maintenance unbalance motors
  • Very low transmission of vibrations into the building
