Screening Machines for Wet Screening
Dewatering, classification or cleaning with screening machines
Many processing tasks require the use of wet screening. In suspension, the product is fed through a suitable feeding system (syphon, overflow pipe or similar) onto the screen width. The liquid used depends on the product, and as it passes along the mesh it transports the fine particles to the outlet.
This process is supported by the excitation of the screen cloth, which ensures smooth transport of the coarse material. The strong flow forces caused by the liquid during wet screening also have the effect of disagglomerating the material, which can be reinforced by an additional spray device if desired.
Dewatering Sieve RHEhydra®
As the ultimate dewatering sieve for fine and finest solids, the RHEhydra® offers a unique extremely advantageous combination of the vibration types linear vibration and direct excitation. As a result, it achieves highest dewatering rates and optimized residual moisture contents in wet screening.
Powerful magnetic vibration heads enable high-frequency vibration and thus ensure maximum dewatering by overcoming cohesive forces. At the same time, low-maintenance unbalance motors ensure material transport even at low inclinations.
The RHEhydra® dewatering sieve is available with …
- feed box and spray system for wet classification
- continuous inclination adjustment
- large inspection openings
Important Information
Advantages of the RHEhydra® dewatering sieve
- Highest dewatering rates
- Optimized residual moisture of approx. 8%
- Saves additional drying and energy costs
- Vibration amplitudes are adjustable during operation
- Particularly flat constructio
- Quick exchange of screen cloths without entering the machine
- Perfect for critical separations
Dewatering Screen RHEdry
In our dewatering screen RHEdry, linear directed vibration with high frequency enables efficient dewatering of medium- and coarse-grained solid particles from suspensions.
Due to its optimized design with a simple and at the same time stable structure, the RHEdry dewatering screen offers a cost-effective solution for many applications in wet processing. It is driven by two low-maintenance 4-pole unbalance motors, which are mounted above the machine in a freely accessible position for maintenance.
The RHEdry dewatering screen is available with …
- machine housing in stainless steel or in standard steel with corrosion-resistant coatings
- bulk specific wear lining for abrasive materials
Important Information
Advantages of the RHEdry dewatering screen
- Cost-effective and flexible solution for different separation tasks
- Optimized design with simple and at the same time robust structure
- Drives are easily accessible
Wet Screen RHEhydrox
The RHEhydrox wet screen has a robust and low-maintenance drive system with an electric motor, cardan shaft and top-mounted unbalance gears, which generates linearly directed vibrations.
This screening machine is particularly well suited for very high capacities and medium to coarse separations, e.g. in the minerals industry. The wet screen is particularly tolerant of fluctuating feed rates and allows the screening frequency to be adjusted during operation.
The RHEhydrox wet screen is available with …
- feed box and spray system
- bulk specific wear lining for abrasive materials
Important Information
Advantages of the RHEhydrox wet screen
- Ideal for coarser separations with high feed rates, e.g. in the minerals sector
- Good external accessibility
- Robust and low-maintenance due to generously dimensioned gear units
- Unaffected by fluctuating feed rates
- Suitable for highly abrasive material
